Our occupational hygienists can assist with fume cupboard and cabinet testing for your workplace.
Good maintenance and regular testing ensures that existing fume cupboards continue to remove contaminations in the air before people breathe them, meaning a safer workforce and cleaner environment. It is a legal requirement that any employer who uses laminar flow cabinets must ensure it is operating effectively and is serviced by skilled professionals.
The Australian Standard 2243.8 Fume Cupboards requires that spray booths meet specified air movement requirements and be tested to an agreed schedule.
All testing is conducted by trained technicians using accredited state-of-the-art sampling and analysis methodologies. Our test reports clearly and concisely identify all measurement results along with schematic diagrams of individual systems to identify test point locations and recommendations for remedial action deemed necessary to ensure the continued effectiveness of the system.
Where applicable the following methods of investigation / measurement are made on each system:
- Smoke Test
- Face Velocity Tests
- Physical Inspection of Components
- Lighting Levels
- Noise Levels
